How to Use Itembuild — Complete Guide

From the homepage, click the "Start Draft" button to enter the draft assistant. This is the main workspace where you build your team composition.

The page is divided into three panels: (left) hero list, (center) your team slots, and (right) suggestions & builds.

The left panel displays all MLBB heroes in a grid. Use the search bar at the top to find a hero by name — type partial names like "Hay" to see Hayabusa.

You can filter heroes by role using the role buttons (Mage, Assassin, Fighter, Tank, Marksman, Support). Click a role button to show only heroes of that role. Click again to clear the filter.

Heroes matching your selected lane are highlighted with a ★ star icon — these are the best fit for your lane role.

Each hero card has two + buttons:

When you add heroes, the suggestion panel on the right updates in real-time. The more heroes you add, the more accurate the recommendations become.

To remove a hero, click the ✕ button on the hero slot in the center panel.

The Pick Suggestions panel shows which remaining heroes are best for you to pick next. Each suggestion has a score (0–100) based on:

• How well the hero counters enemy picks
• How well the hero synergizes with your allies
• How well the hero fits your selected lane
• Anti-synergy — heroes that weaken your existing composition score lower

Click any pick suggestion to instantly add that hero to your ally team.

The Ban Suggestions panel shows enemy heroes you should ban. These are heroes that would most threaten your current team composition.

Ban scores are calculated by analyzing which remaining enemy heroes would counter your allies the hardest or synergize best with enemy picks. Always check this before the ban phase!

You can drag & drop ally heroes to rearrange their lane order. This helps visualize your team layout and can affect lane-based score calculations.

Simply click and hold an ally slot, then drag it to another position. Empty slots are drop targets.

Click on any ally hero slot to see its recommended build:

• 6-slot item build — complete item set optimized for the hero's role
• Emblem set — the best main emblem and talent choices
• Build adapts to enemy composition — anti-mage vs anti-physical

The build recommendation automatically adjusts based on the enemy team's damage type. If enemies have more magic damage, you'll see magic defense items. If more physical, armor items.

Itembuild is fully responsive for mobile use during gameplay:

• Use in a second browser tab while drafting in-game
• Left panel (hero list) slides in as a drawer — tap the hero icon to open
• Right panel (suggestions) also slides in as a drawer — tap the suggestion icon to open
• The center panel (your slots) is always visible for quick reference
